Saving in bulks and large families

Today my huge order of toilet paper and trash bags came. I ordered enough to last 6 months at least. You know those industrial size rolls with the locked dispenser. I got one of those. You see with 5 children one is bound to try and unroll the whole roll of brand new TP. In fact it's kinda fun for them to dunk at least one roll in the toilet a day. I don't know how they do this. They are very talented at not getting caught, so I opted for the locked TP dispenser. Silly? Maybe, but it works for the Mc Donalds play area, why wouldn't it work at home?
Unfortunately this means not getting cute pics of a baby surrounded in Tp smiling, but when it happens daily...it isn't so cute any more. I'll let you know how well it works.
We also bought a mega box of trash bags. I usually pay about 8 dollars for 15 to 20 trash bags of 1.2 mills. Well, I found 250 trash bags of 1.2 mills for 48 dollars. One can easily see how this can save money. It might not be a lot saved, but it's something. When you have a large family everything adds up! On the subject of trash bags, I want to emphasize. Even though we have 7 in our family, we have less trash than the rest of our neighbours. There is a 5 bag limit per week. For the past month we have had about 4 bags a week. That's monumental considering my neighbour that is a couple uses 3 bags a week!
A lot of people look at large families as a problem, in fact the neighbour with three trash bags a week chides me for adding to over population. I have a question, what does it matter how many of us there are if we still use less resources than a typical family of four? I think over population is an excuse to point, sneer, and hate on large families. End of my rant...sorry.
